I stumbled into Doug Wheeler's second solo show last night at David Zwirner and you should go, but make sure you are wearing nice socks.

Wheeler's immersive light instillation explores the changes in light at the Earth's horizon as we rotate. Guests are asked to remove their shoes, put on paper booties, not talk, and NO pictures. As oppressive as it may sound, it is worth it. The entire experience is disorienting—you don't know where the walls begin or where the ceiling ends, and all it makes you want to do is run around in circles pretending to be an airplane.

The show is up until March 29, 2014. Go!
